At Rokkvika Porselensfabrikk, we take our craft seriously — but our process is informal, playful, and exploratory.
There’s something about a lump of clay that awakens the human urge to create. When we enter a flow of making, or focus deeply on learning or refining a technique, the path to mastery feels surprisingly short. And suddenly, putting your phone away for a few hours doesn’t feel difficult at all.

We offer a variety of courses and creative events, and are happy to tailor a program to your needs. Whether you want to bring colleagues, family, or friends for a fun and artistic evening in Rokkvika — or dive deeper into focused instruction in sculpture, wheel-throwing, or hand-building techniques — we’ll create something memorable.

We also offer exclusive one-on-one instruction with our creative director, Gunvor Tangrand.

All courses and events take place in our fully equipped workshop in Stamsund, led by experienced instructors with solid backgrounds in both ceramics and teaching.

Next to the studio, we have access to a beautiful apartment that can be rented by visiting participants (up to 5 guests). Located directly by the sea, the apartment features a terrace and panoramic views of Rokkvika. Naturally, all ceramics and tableware in the space are handcrafted in our own factory.
